# Profit Split

Profit Split is the percentage of realized gains you earn and can withdraw once you become a funded trader.

F**or example,** if your account has an 80% profit split and you generate $10,000 in net profit during a trading period, your share is $8,000, while Supertrade retains $2,000.

To request a payout, the profit must be fully realized from closed positions; open floating profit does not qualify.
